Without the innovative mind of Lance Fensterman, the modern-day comic con experience might look a lot different.
In his two-decade career as a prominent figure in the live events industry, Fensterman’s vision has refined the worlds of fan-centric experiences in the worlds of pop culture and sports.
That began in 2006 when Fensterman spearheaded the founding of ReedPop Exhibitions, a full service event coordinator and multi-media group. The company would go on to create such globally recognized events such as New York Comic Con and C2E2, as well as Emerald City Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration, among others.
As a result, ReedPop became the world’s No. 1 producer of pop culture events.
Fensterman capitalized on his experience and joined Fanatics in 2003 as its CEO of Events. With Fensterman at the helm, Fanatics has branched out to live events aimed at creating the ultimate live fan experiences and more. Today, Fanatics is worth close to $31 billion and is a force on the global sports scene.
It’s because of his visionary outlook and (our love for comic cons) that Fensterman is inducted into the Pop Culture Hall of Fame’s class of 2024 among Entrepreneurs.
